By using Meridian Engine ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Meridian is a browser-based research tool that aggregates data from public academic APIs and provides analysis tools. It is provided for research and educational purposes.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of data from third-party APIs. Research conclusions should be independently verified.
You retain full ownership of any data you enter or generate in Meridian. Since data is stored locally in your browser, you are responsible for backups. Clearing browser data will delete your saved papers and settings.
You are responsible for any API keys you enter. Meridian sends these keys directly to the provider you select. We are not responsible for charges incurred from AI API usage.
Do not use Meridian to: violate any laws, abuse third-party APIs beyond their rate limits, or misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored research.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
